After dental school, he completed an intensive yearlong residency program with concentrations in implant and restorative dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery at Nassau County Medical Center. The residency program also included education in treating the anxious or nervous patient. Taking patients who in the past perhaps had an unhappy dental experience and creating an environment leading towards more comfortable experiences.
He relocated to Ocean City fourteen years ago. As an active member of the community, he has held all offices of the Ocean City/Berlin Rotary Club and is a current President of Temple Bat Yam. Professionally, he is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Eastern Shore Dental Society. Dr. Michnick has also attended several courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies with emphasis on advanced functional aesthetics and neuromuscular dentistry. Dr. Michnick enjoys spending his time off with his wife Deanne and their two children, exploring all this area has to offer.
My name is Brenda. I have been in the dental field for over 10 years. I first started in Hagerstown, MD then went onto Chambersburg, PA. In August of 2008, my husband and I moved to Berlin, MD. I have only been at the practice since August of 2008, but I already feel at home. The doctors and staff are great to work with. Their first priority is patient care, I think that is what the job is all about.
I have two grown children, who still live in Pennsylvania. I enjoy spending time with my husband, my brother and his family. I'm enjoying everything Ocean City has to offer and love living at the beach.

Hello! I am Jessica D. and I have been working with The Atlantic Dental team for 8 years. Exactly one month after I started working here I got married to my husband Chris. We have two beautiful female Rottweilers named Sasha and Izzy. I first applied at Atlantic Dental to be a receptionist however Doctors Robbins and Michnick had faith in me and sent me to school at Wor-Wic Community College. There I attained my license in Dental radiology, Infection Control and General Chairside assisting. I am now a Certified Dental Assistant and a member of the National Association of Dental Assistants. I have attended the courses at The Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry on three occasions. I have also completed courses in Neuromuscular Dentistry and Dynamic Team Concepts.
If I can help answer any questions dealing with cosmetic dentistry, please feel free to contact me at (410) 213-7575.
